The series was filmed in the Northern Territory and South Australia in locations so remote that they are barely inhabited – let alone on screen
Destinations include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park – with special permission from the traditional owners – and Tipperary Station, a real, working processing station so large it has its own airport and school.
I read some of the reviews here and had to voice my opinion because people might be missing out on a great show
Maybe some people expect too much from these shows, but if you want a few hours of great actors, great (they don’t have to be popular) characters, lots of plot threads, drama, violence, emotions, scenery and an escape from city life, don’t miss it.
View the area on its own merits
Don’t watch it to compare it to other shows.
It’s addictive from the start, and the suspense and reflection doesn’t stop until the last scene, and as the title rolls, I’m sitting here thinking, “Release season 2 as soon as possible” I already miss this wonderful, entertaining show
