The story of three young girls trying to pull themselves together as they become trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions and monstrous elephant seals… Featured at the 9th Annual San Diego Film Awards (2023). …had to for this one. It’s really terrible. I mean, I’ve never been interested in writing reviews until this one. It is true that children were at risk during filming. I’m pretty sure in one of the scenes when the kid gets hit in the back of the head by the boogie board, she was actually hit by the boogie board! The look on the little kids face didn’t work, she was scared! Not only is this movie terrible in story, but these kids were actually put in dangerous situations. I am getting my money back. I feel gross supporting how these filmmakers were so desperate to make their movie that they put innocent children in absurd situations. Also, they probably didn’t even have permission to film in those places.
